About the collection... Conceptual capsule collection incorporating final major collection degree work entitled 'Kaonashi'.
Contemporary culture has led us to believe that identity is created through the way we dress. Fashion becomes a silent language in which both wearer and viewer are able to portray an image of themselves. Kaonashi, the Japanese concept of 'no face' aims to disguise identity, a shadow beneath the garments where all identities are brought together as one being, the self, a nameless soul, the very core to our identity. The body can be fragmented, broken, as its surface is dead and garments become a window past the body to the soul.
About me... Forward thinking in stretching creative boundaries, constantly developing ideas, achieving outcomes through a complexity of thought and design. Above all, being fearless and confident in my work.
